No one escapes Hell. Not truly.

He thought it was just another Jehovah’s Witness.
But when he opened the door, there was no one. Just a package.
Inside: a VHS tape. No label. Just a symbol burned into the plastic.

He played it.

Testimonium is a short analog horror experience.
You wake up inside the tape — a rusted iron maiden, blood-soaked rituals, rooms bound to sin.
There is no escape. Only the loop. Only the delivery.

What begins in a shitty apartment ends in a place far below — again and again and again.

Expected playtime: 7-15 minutes.

Fantastic take on the "loop" approach of horror games, combined with disturbing, gritty visuals, a great puzzle and an interesting underlying message. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

Things have to be said, what a GREAT experience. Honestly not scary or unsettling, but one keeps staring at everything because in concept and visuals, this is 100% art.

This is a very interesting game, I don't have much to say, I like the look of this game, creepy atmosphere and it's pretty unsettling. The game was short and strange and I can't put my finger as to why? Anyways I enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing!

For being made for a game jam, this was not too bad at all! Really well made and creepy for sure! Really impressive for a game jam submission I think. Made a video on it.

vibes were cool but it was way too short like wtf how did these people make a 30 minute youtube videos off this

Nice game overall. Pacing was fine and overall, had a nice creep factor to it. Keep it up.

Beautiful atmosphere with hauntingly good VA.

Insane creepy game! Fantastic job!

(+2)

Crazy good. This game warns you at the start that you'll feel "unease, confusion, or guilt". It delivered on that promise extremely well. The game itself wasn't the scariest but rather what the game is about.

I loved this start to finish. Great idea, loved the voice overs, you could hear that everyone involved was really into it. Visuals were fantastic, the claustrophobic environments were a smart idea and the puzzles were pretty neat! I especially loved that this felt like a proper concept, not just random scary stuff. Great work.

The only technical feedback: the VHS audio at the beginning was very quiet, especially in contrast to all the other voice overs, which was a shame because it basically sets up the rest of the story (and is very well done!)
