I understand that the letter at the beginning is meant to be "if you're reading this, then I'm already dead". However I initially took it to mean "opening this letter causes my death" and I just found the idea funny.

Also I ain't trusting no priest named Pucci

Finally, I think the aesthetic is super neat! (Did you make the models yourself? What programs did you use for that?)

Thank you for playing! Models themselves are quite simple, I made them in Blender, low poly and plain color. In engine, graphics are rendered in smaller resolution, then it is stretched to make it look pixelated, and also there is a postprocessing shader for this kind-of-pixel-art outline effect.

oh neat. Would never have guessed that it was a filter

cool, but with no objective in sight, easily beat off waves and lack of real horror, it's a little boring.

Hey man i know you're just trying to leave your honest "review" here but comments like this are extremely unnecessary and can be very demoralizing to us devs. If you have critique to give then feel free, but you could at least be nice about it. Keep in mind that a lot of devs on itch are new to the field and don't need such harsh criticism. Not to mention this particular game is a jam entry and was developed in less than a month, so naturally it's not going to be perfect. I happened to be very impressed by it.

I'm saying what I'm saying to try and motivate your imagination, tbf I was pretty rude with the last sentence, sorry for it and like I said I didn't mean offense.

But it is good to recognize the weaknesses of your game, when the game fails at being a farming sim farther than literally just farming and succeeds at horror as far as literal sheet ghosts, there needs to be a reflection on the faults of the game, which inevitably includes harsh honesty.

I do what I do (reviewing the newest games daily) to try and create a recognition of pros and cons, I do try to focus on positives but it is difficult if there's nothing to point out it becomes a matter of being brutally honest.

Again, I apologize for the heavily unnecessary "mid" comment, definitely a mistake on my part, sorry.

Thank you for the respectful response. To clarify, I think that leaving feedback on games is totally fine and even enouraged, for both positive and negative feedback. It's just important to make sure you're still phrasing the negative stuff nicely and keeping in mind the context behind the game's development. I appreciate your response :)
